Totalsynthese von biologisch aktiven Naturstoffen und deren Analoga
Naturstoffe sind wichtige Leitsubstanzen für die Entwicklung von Arzneimitteln; so beruhen etwa 60 % der für die Krebstherapie eingesetzten Verbindungen auf Naturstoffen. Allerdings werden häufig nicht die Naturstoffe selbst sondern deren Analoga und Derivate verwendet. Im Rahmen unseres Vorhabens werden daher nicht nur Naturstoffe aus dem Bereich der Alkaloide, Steroide, Chromane, Terpene, Antibiotika, Spinosyne, Kohlenhydrate und Zytostatika sondern auch entsprechende Analoga bearbeitet. Ein Schwerpunkt ist hierbei die Verwendung katalytischer Verfahren und von domino-Prozessen.
